Account Manager, Commodity Components                                   Full Time, Salary + Commission

Location, Optional (Regional Office or Remote)


Commodity Components is a leading global distributor of electronic component and supply chain solutions.  We provide the world’s top electronic manufacturers with the innovation and flexibility necessary to “win” in a dynamic and complex global business climate.

We are expanding our sales team to meet growing customer demand.  The successful candidate is responsible for identifying, qualifying and developing a customer base by offering supply chain solutions that meet specific business process and requirements.


  • Understand the Commodity Components business propositions and value-add services.
  • Prospecting new and existing customers to offer semiconductor fulfillment and inventory management solutions.
  • Utilizing various methods to engage customers such as cold calls, email, webinars, referrals, etc.
  • Provide procurement consulting and execution for exception-based supply chain needs
  • Negotiating Terms & Conditions of the sale and/or purchase of electronic components
  • Develop trusted customer relationships thru the delivery of outstanding service and support


  • Two years sales experience, preferably in technology / telemarketing environment
  • Experience in electronic components, computer products or supply chain services a plus
  • Innovative / Creative thinker capable of finding new ways of doing business
  • Strong time management skills and work ethic
  • Strong listening, communication and writing skills
  • Ability to develop customer relationships through execution and trust
  • Self-motivated, Goal oriented
